Indian Runners

 These have an upright stance. Often kept as pets calm but alert. Instead of waddling, they run—fast and straight—making them more predictable for dogs to move.

Strong flocking instinct: they stay together and move as one group.

Hard and good foragers. 

Runners can quickly learn routines and patterns, such as:

• Moving into pens
• Navigating obstacles
• Grouping and ungrouping

This makes them perfect for early-stage stockdog trials or backyard training setups.

Indian runner ducks are fabulous egg layers between 300 - 350 eggs per year.
